Workforce Development
At Catholic Charities San Bernardino & Riverside Counties, we are committed to empowering individuals and families to achieve economic stability and self-sufficiency through our comprehensive Workforce Development and Support Program. Our program helps individuals overcome employment barriers, such as lack of skills, job experience, or necessary documentation, to secure meaningful employment and navigate the job market.
Operating from four strategically located hubs in San Bernardino, Riverside, Coachella, and Upland, our specialized staff provide a variety of services, including employment application assistance, resume building, interview preparation, transportation support, and help obtaining essential documents like DMV identification and birth certificates. Additionally, we offer a Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) certification program, enabling participants to earn a certificate in just 12 months, opening doors to a growing healthcare field.
Our goal is to not only increase employability but also foster long-term economic independence. We actively engage with local employers and provide case management support to ensure participants have the resources and guidance they need to succeed. By focusing on workforce readiness, sustainable employment, and skills development, we are helping individuals and families build brighter futures and contribute to a stronger, more resilient community.
