Hunger Relief
Catholic Charities San Bernardino & Riverside Counties is committed to fighting hunger and improving access to nutritious food for individuals and families in need. Through partnerships with local food banks, parishes, and community organizations, our Hunger Relief Program provides fresh food, pantry staples, food vouchers, CalFresh enrollment assistance, and healthy living education.
Operating from four regional hubs—San Bernardino, Riverside, Coachella, and Upland—our team works to ensure consistent, high-quality support across the region. In 2023, we provided over 1.1 million meals, making a tangible impact on food security.
With every $1 donated, we provide 4 meals, helping us serve more than 16,000 individuals annually. Together, we can fight hunger and build healthier communities.
Qualifications and Eligibility
Eligibility Requirements
To participate, applicants should meet these criteria:
- Residency: Must reside in San Bernardino or Riverside Counties.
- Income Verification: Proof of income may be required to ensure the program serves those in greatest need.
- Identification: Valid ID or other proof of residency is often requested.
Registration Process
- On-Site Registration: Participants can register at distribution events by completing a brief intake form.
- Documents Needed: Bring proof of residency and, if applicable, income verification.
